The largest and the most visited national park in Croatia, Plitvice, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage way back in the year 1979. Millions of tourists throng the park to see its rich flora and fauna, and importantly the numerous turquoise lakes.

How to get here?

  • Take a direct bus from Zadar’s bus station to the Plitvice national park. Summer is particularly busy and there are departures are very frequent. The whole journey takes around three hours and the bus ticket costs 12€.

Pag is a small island located in the northern end of the Adriatic, with a dramatically long coastline. Pag is extremely popular among young visitors as they come here for partying. Zrće beach is the ultimate destination for clubbing and is littered with dozens of clubs.

There are several direct buses daily between Zadar and Pag, and the one hour journey costs just 7€.
